Constant Optimization of our Quality Assurance System

Since 1999 TRANSAMERICAN started to work in their Quality Assurance System, which we got our certification under the norm UNIT-ISO 9002:94 in the month of July 2000. On this instance the company was assisted by the consulting firm ITP-NORMATEC, and we performed quality management induction training in all our personnel.
The certifying entity was LATU SISTEMAS.

From 2002 we started to work towards the new version of the series of norms ISO, but this time without external advice. This work finished in the month of April 2003 with the certification of the company in accordance of the newer version of the norm UNIT ISO 9001:2000, certification that we currently maintain, and which adequacy and evolution is controlled by LATU-SISTEMAS.

In 2003 the company decided to increase its compromise with the constant optimization of quality by participating in the process of awarding of the "Premio Nacional De la Calidad" (National Quality Award). Not only the company reached the last instance of the awarding process, but also got a great variety of improvement opportunities, which we have applied to our quality assurance system.

In 2006 the company obtained a special mention in the area of Leadership, inside the category of small to medium companies thanks to the collective effort of our staff.
