Social Responsibility

In 2006 we started to incursion in the topic of social responsibility. The board of directives assumed that compromise, for which we had to train our managers in order to pass the importance of this new form of assuming our duties.

In that same year we formed a group integrated by representatives of each department, which were volunteered to work in these issues.

Collaborations and Activities performed in 2006:

• Collaboration with "Austria School".
  • Cleaning and painting of main entrance.
  • Restoration of soccer field.
  • General facility repairs.
• Campaign of Collaboration with Public Kindergarten Number 143
  from "Villa Isidoro Noblia". in the local department of Cerro Largo.
  • Donation of books and toys with a day of interaction with the kids.
• Contest of Christmas Cards for Kids.
  • We aimed to integrate our staff by doing a contest of drawings divided in different school levels.
    For the selection of the winners we created an evaluation committee formed by people of our organization and providers not related to the finalists.
    The participation in this contest was well above our expectations.

Update concerning Social Responsibility for 2007:

• Advertisement donation in magazine "Factor Solidaridad".
• Donation of services for overhaul and painting of shelter.
• Financial donation to the State Chemistry University for a project concerning the recycling of batteries.
• Campaign "Un andar Solidario".
  • Gathering of clothes for older men that depend of the ANDARES shelter.
